About This Trip

• Winter Spiti is a weather led Himalayan journey, not a normal hill station holiday with snow added on. Temperatures stay well below freezing, many hotels and businesses close for the season, water lines can freeze, and fresh snow can change the plan overnight. That unpredictability is part of what makes it special, and it is why the stays, amenities, and sightseeing here are kept flexible. • This is a fixed departure group tour, not a private trip. The Volvo, the mountain vehicle, and the accommodation are all shared as per your booking. A private vehicle is not included. The group leaves Delhi on a Friday evening and returns to Delhi the following Friday morning. • This 8 day version does not include a Shimla hotel night. You reach Shimla in the morning after the overnight Volvo, freshen up quickly in a common area, have breakfast at your own expense, then switch to the mountain vehicle and begin the long drive to Sangla the same day •

What's Included

Overnight Volvo from Delhi to Shimla and from Shimla to Delhi
A Tempo Traveller, shared SUV, or MUV for the mountain journey and sightseeing, chosen by the final group size and road conditions, with snow chains carried and fitted when conditions need them
5 nights accommodation plus 2 nights on the overnight Volvo. Stays: Sangla (1N), Nako (1N), Kaza (2N), and Kalpa (1N). The 2 Volvo nights are Delhi to Shimla and Shimla to Delhi
Warm, winter-ready homestays, guest houses, or hotels operating during your departure, on double, triple, or quad sharing as per your booking
5 breakfasts (Day 3 to Day 7) and 5 dinners (Day 2 to Day 6). This is the MAP meal plan
All sightseeing as per the itinerary. Each stop depends on time, daylight, weather, snow, and road conditions on the day
A trip captain or coordinator with the group, plus ik.safar support on the ground, as applicable to the batch
Experienced local drivers who know the Kinnaur and Spiti roads and are used to winter conditions
Help with permits, including the inner line permit where needed, and local formalities

Local 4x4 charges if fresh snow or ice means a smaller 4x4 is needed to reach the high villages. This cost is shared among the travellers using it and told to you beforehand
A backup vehicle unless you add it to your booking. It can be arranged on request for an extra cost, based on availability
A hotel room in Shimla for freshening up on the return day
Any extra cost from snow, bad weather, landslides, road blocks, road closures, or local rules, including any extra stay, food, or travel this causes
