About Spiti Winter

• Winter Spiti is a weather led Himalayan journey, not a normal hill station holiday with snow added on. Temperatures stay well below freezing, many hotels and businesses close for the season, water lines can freeze, and fresh snow can change the plan overnight. That unpredictability is part of what makes it special, and it is why the stays, amenities, and sightseeing here are kept flexible. • This is a fixed departure group tour, not a private trip. The Volvo, the mountain vehicle, and the accommodation are all shared as per your booking. A private vehicle is not included. The group leaves Delhi on a Friday evening and returns to Delhi the following Friday morning. • This 8 day version does not include a Shimla hotel night. You reach Shimla in the morning after the overnight Volvo, freshen up quickly in a common area, have breakfast at your own expense, then switch to the mountain vehicle and begin the long drive to Sangla the same day •

Key Attractions & Experiences

• Cover Kinnaur and Spiti in eight days, with overnight stays in Sangla, Nako, Kaza and Kalpa

• Travel through the Baspa valley, with Rakcham and Chitkul covered whenever the winter road safely allows

• Follow the classic Kinnaur route through the Khab confluence, the Ka Loops and Nako before entering Spiti

• Visit Tabo Monastery and spend two nights in Kaza, with one full day for the high village circuit: Key, Kibber, Chicham, Langza, Komic and Hikkim

• Travel in a Tempo Traveller, shared SUV or MUV chosen by the group size and road conditions, with snow chains carried and fitted when needed

• A fixed departure with fellow travellers, an experienced mountain driver, and a trip captain or coordinator as applicable to the batch

• An emergency oxygen cylinder is carried with the group for safety (you pay only if you use it)

• Return overnight Volvo both ways, five mountain stay nights, and breakfast and dinner included
